29th Annual Boat Show

From the Chamber: Family and Friends -- that is what the Skaneateles Antique and Classic Boat Show has become to us at the Skaneateles Chamber of Commerce. Our organizing committee which is made up of members from the Finger Lakes Chapter (Arnie Rubenstein, Dick Sherwood, Jack Miller, Janice Miller, Steve White, Rob Kidd) and members of the Chamber of Commerce (Sarah Wiles, Diane Fellerman, Sandi Mulconry, Mike Tutor, Hollie Miller -- Janice, Arnie, and Steve are Chamber members, too) meets once a month for ten months of the year. The people on this committee have become like family to each other. We look forward to seeing each other and working together on this premier event for Skaneateles

Then the big event comes, and we see all of our other "once-a-year" friends -- the Marsdens, the Wirths, all the other Sherwoods, the Shehadi's, the Millimacki's and so many more. It's like old home days.
Many of the residents of Skaneateles look forward to the Boat Show each and every year. Talking to the owners, walking among the nautical history on the shore and in the water, listening to the Soda Ash Six - it's all a walk down memory lane.
Thank you, Members of the Finger Lakes Chapter, for having the Antique and Classic Boat Show in Skaneateles. It is a first class act, and you are a part of our family.
